How to Protect You and Your Family Against Landslide Danger

Be familiar with:

the land near you

the location of safe shelters and also the condition of the route going there

the signs of slope instability

the messages on warning signs for slopes

During heavy rainfall, especially when Landslip Warning is in force:

Watch out for signs of slopes instability

Don’t stay between a slope and a rigid structure

Stay away from steep slopes, take a detour

Stay away from structures designed to mitigate natural terrain landslide hazards

If feel threatened by landslide:

Keep vigilant. Should first consider going to the upper floors and staying in the section of the building that is furthest away from the slope. Leave for the safe shelter only if necessary and safe to do so.

Call police for help

Cooperate with the Government’s emergency response action
